Is There More Than 13 Doctors?

Very recently, Steven Moffat confirmed that the Doctor has used all of his regenarations, because of the War Doctor and the Doctor's half-way regeneration in "The Stolen Earth". But how do we know that there have ONLY been 13 Doctors? During this blog I will be discussing the regenaration limit and the question in the title. Enjoy!

The Paul McGann Regeneration

In "The Night of the Doctor", the Doctor crash lands on Karn, where the Sisterhood of Karn try to persuade him to fight in the Last Great Time War. Dying from his wounds, the Sisterhood gives him a elixir that will "trigger" his regeneration. She didn't say it would give him an extra regeneration. So he used up a regenaration.

The First(maybe) Doctor

William Hartnell played the First Doctor. But how do we know he is REALLY the First Doctor? You may know that the Time Lords can give regenerations if they choose to. So maybe before the Doctor did some great deed and recieved 13 more lives. So maybe the first Doctor is not the first incarnation, but the first of 13 MORE.

River's Gift

In "Let's Kill Hitler", River gives the rest of her remaning lives to the Doctor to stop him from dying. So couldn't he use those regenerations?

 The Reward

As I said above, Time Lords can give their lives. So with the Doctor's quest to find Gallifrey, he could find them and get a reward, another bunch of regenerations. But maybe not because when the Doctor tells them
he is freezing the planet they aren't happy chappies.

I hope you like this post, please tell me what you think in the comments.
